BookRags.com was founded in 1999 by James Yagmin and David Lieberman, two recent college graduates. Launched with just 40 book notes, BookRags has expanded into one of the largest student education websites, with over 4 million unique pages of content used by students around the world. Their on-demand educational resources include encyclopedia articles, biographies, primary sources, quotes, ebooks, quizzes, critical essays, book summaries, study guides, and lesson plans on thousands of literary works. Much of the information on BookRags is written by professional writers and teachers. Study guides for the most commonly taught titles are free to access, but others require either an ongoing subscription or a single one-time purchase. My favorite section of BookRags is Writing and Studying Skills and Tips, which contains lots of free articles on how to write different types of essays, how to analyze poems and novels, how to debate a point, how to not fail a class, most common mistakes in college application essays, etc.
